The work was created during the pandemic. In the photograph, the slogan from Sartre’s book Behind Closed Doors has been placed on a carpeted, dusty path and hung from a balcony for airing. Sartre himself rejected the commonly accepted interpretation of the phrase as misanthropic.

Collage
2024
An image of the Keret House in Warsaw – the narrowest house in Europe – has been superimposed with a picture of a vertically falling star. When the artist lived in this house, he witnessed such a sight: precisely in the middle of the narrow gap with a view of the sky, a star fell; the meteor burned up in the atmosphere, leaving a long tail. The artist regarded this extraordinary phenomenon as one of the most significant wonders of his life.

Collage
Atlas of Tectonic Landscapes: Gradient of 8 Marble Squares
From the cycle Atlas of Tectonic Landscapes
2024
The collage presents a diagram of the installation in the form of a line of eight marble-patterned squares, arranged from the darkest at the top to the lightest at the bottom. The abstract severity of the figure contrasts with the fluidity of the reflection of the leaves in the water.
